Dr. Dave Moody DVM, PhD
Practice Owner and Veterinarian
Dr. Dave grew up in Cumberland ME. He attended St. Michaels College receiving a B.S. in Biology. Although he was a Pre-Veterinary major at St. Michaels, he began work in a plant research lab which led him to complete an M.S. in Soil Science at the Pennsylvania State University followed by a Ph.D. in Horticulture at Cornell University. After nearly a decade of plant research work Dr. Dave decided to pursue his true passion of caring for animals and earned his DVM from Cornell University.
Dr. Dave has a special interest in dermatology and internal medicine, more specifically managing chronic GI and skin conditions.

During the Summer of 2019 Dr. Dave moved to the Lincoln area. In October 2020 Dr. Dave and his family purchased the Chester Animal Hospital from Drs. Joe and Mel. In 2022 Dr. Dave arranged for a new hospital to be built. In December 2022 the hospital in Chester closed and Dr. Dave and his team moved to the new location- Lincoln Regional Veterinary Hospital.

Dr. Dave enjoys fishing and has a passion for working on fixer upper boats. He also loves spending as much time possible exploring the great outdoors with his wife Michaela, daughters Lillian and Willow, Chocolate Labrador Retriever Bucky, Golden Labrador Milo, Beagle Oakie and Goldendoodle Cheese. The Moodys also have a friendly orange tabby named Carrot.
Dr. Karen Murphy DVM
Associate Veterinarian
Dr. Karen Murphy is a licensed and accredited veterinarian with 20+ years of experience working in private practice. In her career, she has enjoyed serving a variety of clients initially specializing in dairy cattle reproduction and production medicine, followed by later positions in practices serving a great variety of species-both companion and food animals. Dr. Emily Lowell DVM
Associate Veterinarian
Dr. Emily grew up in Penobscot, Maine. She received a BA in Biology from Bowdoin College and her DVM from Tufts University. She has a special interest in nutrition and behavior.

In her free time, she enjoys baking, gardening, and hiking with her dog Acadia.

She is very excited to join the team at LRVH and get to know the people and pets of Lincoln and the surrounding area!
Michaela Moody MPA
Operations Manager
Michaela earned a Bachelor of Arts from St. Lawrence University. She continued her education at Cornell University where she earned a Master of Public Administration and met her husband Dave.

Rain, snow, or shine Michaela enjoys being active outside with her family Dave, Lillian, Willow, Bucky (Chocolate Labrador Retriever), Milo (Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever), Oakie (Beagle), Cheese (Goldendoodle) and Carrot (Orange Tabby Cat).
Karen Golden LVT
Practice Mgr and Licensed Veterinary Technician
Karen is a Licensed Veterinary Technician and has worked for LRVH since 1995. Karen earned degrees in Animal Medical Technology, Applied Science and Business Administration from UMAINE. She values the relationships that she has built with numerous clients and their fur babies over the years, and feels very fortunate to be part of a highly skilled veterinary family that makes compassionate care for all pets a priority.

Karen enjoys spending time with her friends, her husband James, daughter Samantha, and their 2 dogs Molly and Abby. She also enjoys embarking on day trips to the coast of Maine during the Summer.
Emily LVT, PSM
Lead Licensed Veterinary Technician
Emily is a Licensed Veterinary Technician and has worked for LRVH since 2016. She earned an Associates degree of Science and a Bachelors degree of Science in Veterinary Technology from UMAINE August/Bangor. Emily is a Fear Free Certified Veterinary Professional, Companion Animal Euthanasia Training Academy Certified Veterinary Professional and one of the only NAVC Human-Animal Bond Certified Licensed Veterinary Technicians in New England.

Emily is a Registered Maine Guide for Hunting and enjoys all outdoor activities. She can be found riding her horses Telos and Gunner and tending to her small hobby farm in Medway. Emily lives in Medway with her husband Nick, GS Max and 3 cats Ruby, Cooper and Tom.
Erynn Rancourt LVT
Licensed Veterinary Technician
Erynn is a Licensed Veterinary Technician and has worked for LRVH since 2019. Erynn earned a Bachelors of Science in Veterinary Technology from UMAINE at Augusta.

Erynn is an outdoor enthusiast who enjoys hiking, snowshoeing and going to camp with her husband Marcus and their two dogs Riley and Finnegan. She also enjoys spending time with family, friends, and their two cats.
Lee-Ann Gelfuso
Veterinary Technician
Lee-Ann has worked in the field of veterinary medicine since 1989. She moved to Maine from Rhode Island in 2012 and has worked for LRVH since.

In her free time Lee-Ann enjoys fishing, hiking, and spending time with her family and dogs.
Lindsey Dill
Veterinary Technician
Lindsey has worked with animals her entire life and in addition to her work at LRVH she is pursuing a degree to become a licensed veterinary technician.
When she is not spending time with her animals Lindsey is often coaching gymnastics. She also likes any hobbies outside especially hunting, fishing, and hiking. Lindsey enjoys spending time with family, friends and her animals.
Aubrey Mueller
Veterinary Technician/Customer Service Rep
Aubrey is originally from NH and moved to Midcoast Maine where she enjoyed having her own farm. Spending time with animals and working with them have always been large sources of joy and fulfillment in her life.
Aubrey is excited to now be a member of the Lincoln Maine community with her fiancé, four children, and bonus son. If she's not spending time with her family or at work you can usually find her in the garden or out exploring in nature.
Kortnie Trott
Veterinary Technician
Kortnie has grown up with animals and has fallen in love with them. She has a passion for dogs and has two of her own. She changed majors to follow her passion and would like to continue her career as a vet tech and groomer.

She has worked at a dog daycare where she spent her days playing with and cuddling dogs. She also enjoys taking her dogs for walks and swims.

In her free time Kortnie likes to ATV, hunt, ice fish, and adventure.
Nicole Richards
Veterinary Technician
Nicole grew up in Lincoln and has always had a passion for helping animals. She pursued this passion by attending the University of Maine at Augusta where she earned a Bachelors of Science in Veterinary Technology.

In her free time Nicole enjoys spending time with her family. She enjoys being outside hiking with her husband Jon and dog Daisy but her favorite time of year is during the Winter when she can go skiing.

Caprice Stevens
Lead Customer Service Representative
Caprice started off working as a kennel assistant at LRVH in 2019 where she then was trained to be a Customer Service Representative. Being able to be a part of helping animals and interacting with their owners brings her great joy.
Animals and art are Caprice’s passions. When she’s not hanging out with her crazy cats Mantequilla, Batman, Dude, Bandit and Jerry, she’s pursuing her love of photography. An outlet she’s used to express herself for as long as she can remember.
In her free time she enjoys 4 wheeler rides with friends and adventuring. All year round you can expect she’s anxiously awaiting ski season, there’s nothing that brings her more happiness than that, except maybe a new tattoo!
Kati Wakefield
Customer Service Representative
Kati is a mom to a 9 year old daughter, who lives for softball season. They live in Howland with their cat Bella, who is the best little snuggle bug.
When Kati is not at the softball field or on an adventure with her daughter, she can be found baking, refinishing furniture, or curled up with a good book.
Amanda Peters
Kennel Assistant
Amanda lives in Woodville with her husband, daughter, three dogs, and two cats. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family, walking, gardening, and making arts and crafts with her daughter. As a family they love fishing.
Meagan O'Connor
Student of Veterinary Medicine
Meagan is currently earning her DVM at the University of Glasgow Veterinary School. When she is home for breaks Meagan works as a veterinary technician at LRVH.
